보기 Watching
Koryo at full speed, two angle changes.

Eight camera angles

See the same movement from the front, the back, the sides, and the diagonals.

  1. Swipe left or right on the video.

Your place in the form is kept when you switch.

The speed picker opens, then quarter speed.

Playback speed

Six speeds from 0.25× to 1.5×. Slow a sequence down until every detail reads.

  1. Tap the speed picker in the player.
  2. Pick a speed.
Paused on a stance, zoomed in, then reset.

Zoom

Look closer at a hand or a stance, up to 4×.

  1. Pinch on the video.
  2. Double-tap to reset.

The glowing arc is the camera you are watching; the orange marker is the current position in the form.

Step-by-step mode

One technique at a time, on your count.

  1. Tap the step-by-step button on the playbar.
  2. Tap the arrows to move one step.

Movement numbers follow the official Kukkiwon count.

The active technique turns saffron as it happens.

Technique labels

Every movement is named in romanized Korean and English, and the technique being performed lights up in saffron.

  1. Set labels to Auto, Always, or Off under Settings, Technique labels.

Which lines the label shows

Keep both lines, or just the Korean, or just your language.

  1. Open the menu, then Settings.
  2. Switch the lines under Technique labels.
소리 Listening
Audio on: the announcement holds, then the movement plays.

Audio announcements

The app speaks every technique before the movement starts, so you can run the form without watching the screen.

  1. Tap the speaker button on the playbar.
  2. Tap it again to change language: Korean, your language, then both.

Announcements are spoken in every language the app supports.

사전 Looking up
Typing yeop filters to the side kicks.

Technique Dictionary

All 149 techniques, searchable in Korean and English.

  1. Open the menu, then Technique Dictionary.
  2. Search in either language.

Common questions

Which forms are included for free?

Il Jang, the first Taegeuk form, is included with the free download. The Taegeuk Pack, Yudanja Pack, and All Poomsae are optional in-app purchases.

I paid on another device or reinstalled. How do I get my forms back?

Open Snapkick and choose "Restore Purchases." Purchases are tied to your Apple Account and restore at no extra charge.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.

What are the camera angles?

Each form is filmed from eight synchronized angles set around the practitioner. Swipe to change your viewpoint without losing your place in the form.

What do the on-screen labels mean?

Techniques are named in romanized Korean (Kukkiwon romanization, e.g. Arae-makgi, Yeop-chagi) with the English term alongside.

Does Snapkick work offline?

Yes. Forms you own are stored on your device, so playback needs no connection in the dojang.
